My pal Alyssa (aka Neon Danger) showed a bunch of new art and a outdoor mural at Sky High Skateboard Shop here in Milwaukee last night. Alyssa's art has always been good, but she proved yesterday that she's just now truly coming into her own. Her vision is getting refined and particular. It's some weird, incredibly vibrant shit. I fear questioning how her mind formulates it, but I'm glad it does.Broader world, it's time to step up and take notice.
Her work will be on display at the new Faythe Levine-curated gallery (at the back of the the shop) for a few months, I believe. You should definitely check it out if you couldn't make it yesterday.
