Alex Chilton is in town tonight (I'm not going because as far as I can tell, that would require me to leave the house), so
WMSE was doing a Chilton & Chilton-related listening fest. I missed whatever song they played by Chilton's fellow Big Starrer, Chris Bell, so when I got home, I promptly put on
I Am the Cosmos.
"Though I Know She Lies" is far and away my favorite song on the record, and it is a perfect accompaniment to the
Rush River Porter Ale I'm drinking and the general wintryness of everything that's happening outside and in.
