breadline blues

Clearly, we haven't been relegated to breadlines again yet (and I wonder how those things would work now? Would the government sell the breadline contract to the big boys? Would it be Wonder or starvation?), but nonetheless, this song from the early '30s by Slim Smith is eerily relevant to the current economic and social situation. I mean, we've all been robbed with AIG b.s. (ETC) & things are getting worse than better, am I right?
